January was off to a fantastic #reading start!
Possibly my most favorite Lauren Willig—#bandofsisters;
same of Marie Benedict’s #themitfordaffair;
enjoyed two somewhat come-of-age WWII centered femme-thrillers, #daughtersofvictory by Gabriella Saab and #thehungerbetweenus by Marina Scott;
Jane Smiley’s new western mystery Dangerous Business (I don’t think I’ve ever read anything set in Monterey);
interesting not-love story #kayandike by James Macmanus;
two more Kate Quinn offerings #mistressofrome and #daughtersofrome (going to be sad when I’ve read them all!);
and I’m always down for Jodi Taylor Christmas offering, this time a Time Police one, Santa Grint.
